Q: Where will I stay?
A: Depending on the program, you have a choice of staying with a native host family or in a residence, which is a dorm-like environment (some programs even offer both options!)

Q: How will I get to my accommodation from the airport?
A: We will arrange for you to picked up from the airport and taken to your accommodation. Many times, this service is included in the cost of the program.

Q: Will I know who my host family will be?
A: You will be given your host family’s contact information (and we encourage you to contact them) before you even leave home.

Q: Will there be other students in the homestay with me?
A: Usually, other students from the program will be staying with you in your homestay. Every effort is made to room students from different nationalities together, though it is not always possible. We always try to accommodate special requests.

Q: Suppose I am unhappy with my family?
A: Give it a chance. Everything will be different at first. Remember that this is a different country with a different culture and you need to be flexible and have an open mind. But within a couple of days days, you will get in to the groove and feel at home. If for some reason you are still uncomfortable, speak up! We will try to make you comfortable or change your accommodation if necessary.

Q: What if I have a special diet or I have allergies or special needs?
A: No problem. Please advise us of any particular requests.

Q: How far will my accommodations be from the school?
A: Usually within walking distance or a short commute from the school.

Q: How do I know what level I am at?
A: You will be given a placement test when you arrive at school the first day.
