The Global Teen program offers four types of accommodation:
  1. Native host family - Living with a host family is a great way to experience life as a native and you'll learn things about the culture that you would not otherwise be privilege to. This arrangement usually includes full board (3 meals a day). During the week, the family will pack a lunch for the student to take to school. The dinner meal is the most rewarding, as it provides a catalyst for family and student to converse in the native language about real topics. Most homestay situations will involve more than one student from the program, often pairing students from different countries and allowing students to make friends from all over the world.
  2. Residence - Students who choose the residence option live in a dorm-like environment.
  3. Apartment or pension - Students who choose this option will live in either an individual or shared apartment setting (shared units have a common living room, kitchen and bathroom).
  4. Hotel - Students who wish to do so can make arrangements to stay at the hotel of their choice during the their stint on the Global Teen program.
